Bangkok, ThailandExplored Khlong Bang Luang today, a market in an artist community. Old houses line both sides of the area, with a canal running through the middle. Some are studios where you can watch artists painting, while others have been turned into workshop spaces where visitors can make handmade accessories or paint their own pictures. To me this feels like the authentic Thai scene many tourists imagine: traditional houses along the river, boats drifting by, and friendly smiles from shop owners.
