A Room Without Walls

Having spent most of my life inside a condominium in Bangkok's city center, my experience of the city was shaped by shopping malls, office buildings, and spaces built around consumption. Much of everyday life remained behind walls and doors.

Moving to the older neighborhoods of the city shifted my attention. Although only a short distance away, they existed outside my familiar circle. I began noticing a different relationship between people and the city, where daily life extended into public space through objects, plants, repairs, and temporary arrangements shaped by repeated use.

Bangkok has developed rapidly, creating layers of urban life that exist alongside one another. This series follows these everyday encounters across the city, exploring how the spaces we live in shape the worlds we come to know.
